The Bus
We purchased the bus in January 1998 from Pro- Bus in Long Beach, Ca.
Pro-bus delivered it to us in Nashville, TN while we were visiting my son and his family for the Holidays
I drove the bus to florida, 700 miles, over two days and it was my first time driving bus this large.
The bus had a 6V92T Detroit Diesel and an Allison 740, 5 speed automatic transmission.
I subsquently re-powered the bus with a NEW (34,000 miles) Detroit Diesel Series 60, 12.7 liter engine
and a NEW off the shelf Allison New World B-500, 6 speed, automatic bus transmission.
